Vlogger Review - do airlines care?
Nonstop Dan just posted a scathing review ("AA Still Doesn't Care") of AA's business class product. It already has 137K views after two days. While I
am not looking to dive into the wild world of flight vloggers, I am curious if anyone knows how closely airlines monitor this content and whether it might lead
to changes/improvements. In this particular case, I agree with a lot of his points and hope so.

Maybe the question should be does AA care?

He was upset non rev employees are served meals ahead of him. It was a day flight and on that particular flight they started service from the rear. His ridiculously high expectations were an international First class experience comparable to SWISS.

I can tell just from the screen capture of his blog I already want to say mean things about him without even watching his stupid review. He's bound to be EXHAUSTING to watch.

I have better things to do than watch that but is that a packaged muffin and a packaged roll in that screenshot?
If so, pretty bad on the part of AAs catering

I am just curious how important this segment of vlogger reviews have become to airlines and if they follow/respond in any way. The same question could be asked for any number of airline vlogger reviews but this one was fresh in my mind.

Hes entertaining and quite good at what he does but sometimes their perceptions are amusing.

As an aside, I find Nonstop Dan to be harsher than most other bloggers. A lot of this stems from his criticism of the food. He is vegan and without fail orders vegan special meals on board which, without fail, are usually pretty bad compared to the other options. I don't really know why he acts so shocked when AA/UA/DL serves him 3 snow peas and 2 grape tomatoes resting on a bed of cauliflower mash.
But no, I don't think the airlines care at all. They know their product isn't holding a candle to the ME3 (what most of these bloggers seem to compare all other airlines to) or even the European airlines for that matter and that's fine by them. As long as they can offer us 16 daily flights fom Dallas to El Paso, in their mind, things are A-OK.

Maybe nonstop Dan is mad that he had a connection.
I don't think anyone will be surprised with a negative product review of AA right now though

I find him kind of pointless and annoying to watch so stopped, but watched this to re-confirm.
As a vegan he does not get any of the listed starters or meals that I would select. He does not eat dairy, so didn't get the sundae or cheese cake, they gave him a vegan cookie. The food is a big reason I watch. So Dan's trip report videos score a zero, then his complaining makes it all too negative.
He also does not drink alcohol so provides zero on the wine and champagne experience, then complains about his cranberry juice.
Dan should try to ask the other passengers to get some video of the normal menu starters, meals and desserts. I always like videos where there were 2 passengers that each ordered something different.
